For the mac, google has launched a commandline version.

Porting to mono also means porting all the additional libraries, some of which (Json.net) are much larger than the PicasaDownloader sources and not mine and highly platform dependend. Besides that I do not have a mac to test the platform dependend stuff.

So altough I would like to offer such version I do not see me be able to do it in the nead future.

One way of porting it is to use Mono. For example this Duplicati project is using this approach: http://code.google.com/p/duplicati/
